The forecast called for rain all day, but I spotted a tiny window and took a chance. And wow, was it worth it. The forest and river was alive, and the quiet between the raindrops felt like something out of a storybook.

Frances & Evan and Lou still brought the thunder, and made this fun and effortless.

Right as we stepped into our cars, the rain came back—but by then, we had everything we needed.
