A West Coast Engagement Adventure On Vancouver

With Aly and Chris’ wedding only a few weeks away, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this season of anticipation than sharing their epic Vancouver Island engagement session.

This one felt extra special.

We took a drive along the coast with one goal in mind: Sombrio Beach. It’s been on our bucket list for a long time, and this session was the perfect excuse to finally explore it. Rugged shoreline, dramatic rock formations, endless textures, and that unmistakable West Coast energy. It delivered in every way.

From the moment we arrived, everything just clicked. From the forest to the sound of the waves, the scale of the landscape, and Aly and Chris fully leaning into the experience made this session feel effortless and real. No rushing. No over-directing.
