A Year in frames: Gratitude, Growth & the Stories We Were Trusted to Tell

Every year we take this time of the year to slow down. To step away from editing (since we're all done!!), the gear bag (expect for one camera always around) and simply look. Look at the moments we were trusted with. Look at the stories that unfolded in front of us. Look at the quiet, loud, emotional, fleeting frames that made up an entire year of our lives. Honestly? We couldn't feel more grateful. This year, we photographed 48 engagement session and 38 weddings!! Each one wildly different, deeply personal, and full of heart. From intimate elopements to full-day celebrations surrounded by loved ones. That trust is never lost on us. We wanted to take a moment to share a handful of frames that stayed with us and the ones that made us pause, smile, and say to each other "this is why we do this."

Why Documentary Photography Matters to Us

As documentary wedding photographers, we don’t believe in over-planning every moment of the wedding day. Of course, there’s intention behind the scenes. From engagement sessions, timeline guidance, gentle direction when needed, and a whole lot of preparation you never see. But when the wedding day arrives, our priority shifts.

We want you in the middle of it all. Present. Connected. Laughing. Crying. Hugging the people who showed up for you.

We believe the most meaningful images happen when couples are free to experience their day and not perform it. When emotions are real. When moments are unscripted. When time seems to move both too fast and impossibly slow.
