When Abi and Oscar first told me they wanted their engagement session to feel like an adventure—and to truly show off the beauty of British Columbia—I was all in. They weren’t looking for something overly posed or predictable. They wanted something real. Something that felt like them.
We bounced around a few ideas, and when Lindeman Lake came up, I knew this was going to be special. Yes, it meant a bit of a hike. Yes, it meant committing to the elements. But the moment I googled the location, I knew this was an adventure I wanted to be part of.
An Adventure Worth the Hike
Tucked away near Chilliwack, Lindeman Lake is one of those places that feels untouched—moody forests, towering mountains, and that unreal alpine water that stops you in your tracks. The hike in sets the tone right away. It slows you down. It puts you in the moment. And by the time we reached the lake, it felt like we had earned every single frame.
Abi and Oscar leaned into the experience completely. No rushing. No pressure. Just the two of them exploring, laughing, taking it all in. Those in-between moments—the quiet walks, the wind, the way they naturally connected—are what made this session so powerful.
Moody, Romantic, and Unapologetically BC
These images are a reflection of what I love most about photographing couples in BC’s backyard. The drama of the mountains. The softness of overcast light. The way nature becomes part of the story rather than just a backdrop.
This session wasn’t about perfect poses. It was about trust, movement, and letting the environment guide us. The result? Images that feel cinematic, intimate, and deeply connected to the place they were created.
Let’s Go on an Adventure
If you’re dreaming of an engagement session that feels like you—epic, romantic, a little wild—and you want to feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, let’s do it. Whether it’s a mountain lake, a coastal hike, or somewhere that feels meaningful to your story, I’m always ready to go the extra mile.
British Columbia is an incredible playground. Let’s explore it together.
