Dimitri & Erin’s Kamloops Adventure Engagement Session

We Love exploring and there's just something  special about getting to explore a brand-new place with our couples. When Dimitri and Erin first told us about this epic spot out in the Kamloops area, we knew we were in for something different. We hadn’t spent much time shooting around Kamloops before, so the idea of chasing waterfalls (literally) and seeing new landscapes had us hyped.

We met up at a gas station nearby—because let’s be real, reception in the middle of nowhere? Not happening. From there, we followed each other through the service road that led us to Deadman Falls. Honestly, the drive wasn’t nearly as rough as I’d imagined, though I kept catching myself staring out at the landscapes thinking, oh, we need to come back here. But we stayed focused, making sure we had enough time at the falls themselves.

And it was so worth it. Deadman Falls has this haunting beauty, especially after the 2024 forest fire that shaped the land in such a unique way. Charred trees, rugged terrain, and that powerful waterfall—it felt like stepping into another world. Dimitri and Erin fit right into that backdrop, turning the wild landscape into their own little love story.

Exploring new corners of our backyard is honestly one of our favorite parts of this job. Every location has its own vibe, its own energy—and when we pair that with a couple who’s down for adventure, magic happens.
