Emma + Craig’s VanDusen Garden Wedding | A Day Full of Color

Some weddings just stick with you—this was one of them. From the moment we met Emma and Craig, we knew this one was going to be something special. Maybe it’s because they’re as nerdy and fun as we are (hello, lightsaber proposal at Disneyland!), or maybe it’s just because their energy is downright contagious. Either way, we were all in.
Their big day at VanDusen Botanical Garden was a beautiful blend of personal touches, joyful chaos, and seriously jaw-dropping aesthetics. Emma had been teasing us for months on Instagram with sneak peeks of her DIY magic—floral arrangements, seating charts, and everything in between. And honestly? The results blew us away. Every little detail reflected their personalities, from the bold color palette to the playful signage.
Major credit goes to Samantha and her team at Sweet Heart Events for pulling everything together flawlessly. A wedding like this doesn’t happen without a rockstar team, and we were lucky to be part of it.
From the morning prep (yes, there was Disney music and happy tears) to Craig casually moving seating charts before jumping into his tux—it was non-stop action and laughter. We wandered the gardens with the bridal party, recreated some of the couple’s photo ideas (they came prepared with inspo and we loved it), and soaked in every second of their romantic, fun-filled day.
The ceremony? Pure magic under the lush VanDusen canopy. The reception? A mix of heartfelt speeches, donuts instead of cake (yes please), and a packed dance floor. We couldn’t have asked for a better day—or better people to spend it with.
Emma and Craig, thanks for letting us be part of this chapter. You two are the real deal.
