Lytton, BC has always been one of those towns I’ve driven by but never really stopped to explore—until now. I met up with Britannia and Jersey for a session they described as wanting to capture the town exactly as it is. Nearly four years after the wildfire, there’s still so much story and resilience in every corner.
We started with some casual wandering, capturing the rawness and quiet beauty of a place still in the process of rebuilding. Before all of this, Karla and I took a little pit stop at Kumsheen Rafting Resort for some cold drinks—and wow, what a spot. Naturally, we grabbed a few frames there because how could we not?
I had grand plans to chase waterfalls (classic me), but the road was under construction and we were stuck for about 15-20 minutes. So we pivoted, and Britannia invited us to her parents’ property instead. Total win—epic views, great energy, and a perfect end to the day.
Moody. Playful. Honest. Just how we like it.
