Craig and Laura had found me through Fearless Photographers! A friendly competition for some of us who are not afraid to push the boundaries of what it means to be wedding photographers and connect with couples who truly value the art beyond the traditional portrait. I knew right from the beginning these two were that kind of couple and that we would have a blast together creating unforgettable memories.
Laura is originally from Vancouver, now living in Alberta with Craig - where they met. They love nature and everything about British Columbia which made it a no-brainer to get married in Vancouver. They booked their engagement session a few days after our phone conversation and knew exactly what they wanted. We would start in the very iconic Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge Park and move towards Stanley Park, two very beautiful spots in Vancouver. I was super stoked to see this much enthusiasm. They booked their flights right away.
I must say only a few of my clients have surprised me as they have. I had mentioned it would be Halloween weekend and we should try to organize a little something, maybe use pumpkins or simple masks. Since they were out of town I didn't expect them to bring anything spooky but they actually did!! Everything about this engagement session was simply awesome. I am so excited to see them next year for their wedding knowing it's going to be an epic one!
