Our Favourite Engagement Session Locations of 2025

Every engagement session we photograph starts with the same intention: to create something that feels real, honest, and uniquely yours.
We’re not about stiff poses or ticking boxes. We’re about exploring together, leaning into whatever the day gives us, and adding our own creative twist along the way. Sometimes that means chasing light with less-than-perfect weather forecasts, hiking a little farther than planned, or turning familiar places into something completely new.
In 2025, we explored a mix of last‑minute adventures, remote landscapes, and right‑at‑home neighborhood sessions. Here are some of our favourite engagement session locations from the year, in no particular order.
Bowen Island

Bowen Island was one of those trust the process sessions and a perfect reminder of why we say yes to adventure.
With winter creeping up in Vancouver, rain was pretty much a given. The forecast wasn’t promising, but there was a small window showing less than a 40% chance of clearing near sunset. We told our couple, “Let’s jump the gun and go for it.”
The ferry ride over? Rain. The drive to our spot? Even more rain. Umbrellas came out, and we embraced it.
Less than 30 minutes into shooting, the skies started to open up. The rain softened, the clouds lifted just enough, and we were rewarded with an epic, moody sunset that felt earned. One of those sessions where luck meets showing up—and trusting the moment. See More Here
Kamloops – Deadman Falls

This session felt like stepping into a completely different world.
We met up with the couple at a gas station just before heading down a long service road. Full tank, no cell reception, and straight into the wilderness. After the recent fires in the area, the landscape had a darker, more dramatic tone—charred trees, textured ground—but the bright, sunny day balanced it beautifully.
Exploring Deadman Falls reminded us how diverse our backyard really is. From gloomy forest tones to open light and wide views, it was a perfect example of how contrast can elevate a session and push our photography into something more cinematic and artistic. See More Here
Vancouver Island

Shooting on Vancouver Island never gets old—and honestly, it’s one of the reasons people fall in love with the West Coast.
Ocean cliffs, crashing waves, waterfalls that spill right into the sea, and lush rainforest wrapping everything together. Every turn feels like a new location, even when you’re only minutes apart.
These sessions are about movement and atmosphere. Wind in your hair, waves crashing nearby, and the quiet moments in between. It’s raw, it’s wild, and it always feels like an adventure worth taking. See More Here
In the City – Vancouver Neighbourhood Sessions

Not every adventure requires leaving town.
Living just a few blocks from Granville Island, we decided to turn the city into the backdrop. This session was all about movement and spontaneity—hopping on a sea taxi, shooting at different ferry stops, and letting the city guide us.
We’ve also photographed engagement sessions in neighborhoods all across Vancouver, and they’ve quickly become some of our favourites. Shooting close to home adds a personal layer that can’t be replicated elsewhere. Hidden alleyways, quiet corners, familiar streets—there’s something special about documenting love where real life happens. See More Here
Lindeman Lake

This one was for the couples who love to earn their views.
Lindeman Lake required hiking boots, patience, and a shared love for the outdoors. We photographed this session in the fall, which made the entire experience even more magical. Golden leaves, crisp air, and colour everywhere we turned.
The hike itself became part of the story. From the climb up through the forest to finally reaching the lake, every moment felt intentional and immersive. Sessions like this remind us why we’re drawn to adventure‑based engagement photography—because the journey matters just as much as the destination.
Let’s Keep Exploring

These sessions are just a glimpse of what’s possible when we explore together and let moments unfold naturally.
Where should we go next?
Tell us where your dream engagement session would take you—whether that’s somewhere wild and remote, right in your neighbourhood, or a place that holds meaning to your story. We’re always ready for the next adventure.
